Our story
Few words about us
We come from a commercial fishing family. When my parents started Novelli's Crab and Seafood in 2014, they had a dream of selling what we caught straight to the public rather than to the docks. We couldn't guarantee a date or type of fish, but what we could guarantee was the freshest seafood possible. June 29th of 2020 tragedy struck and I lost my parents when they were out crabbing, doing what they loved. Novelli's was always a dream of my mother's and I didn't want to let it die with her. Today we still only bring in the freshest catch from local fisherman, never from a big company. We still can't guarantee a date or type of fish, but as always we can guarantee the freshest seafood possible.

This place is a “must go” when we are in Florence visiting my family!! It’s down on the water, which really adds to the experience. You will have the best crab chowder you’ve ever had! (Don’t forget to add garlic bread) but really all your crab needs will be met! You can even get some smoked salmon…plus you’ll probably see some seals too!!( they know what’s up). DJ and Audrey are really rockin it down in old town!! Thanks you guys!!

As a native New Englander (Boston) there is no food I'm more particular about than chowder. Novelli's blew my expectations out of the water. Some of the best chowder I've ever had and adding an extra crab and garlic bread was took it to the next stratosphere.

If I could give 6 stars I would! We are from the east coast (RI) and their crab chowder, crabs and garlic bread was by far the best we’ve had on the west coast!! The garlic bread is to die for, the crab chowder is amazing and the owner is so nice and such a hard worker! Definitely make the stop here on the dock if you’re in the area.
